Model Cleaners “Coats for Kids”
In the fall of 2016, the Swiatek Melone Group assisted Model Cleaners in launching the “Coats for Kids” drive with the Salvation Army. Working with only 6 school districts in its inaugural year we were able to collect, clean, package and distribute over 5,000 coats to area kids in need. We delivered branded collection cans to each school and utilized the PTA, social media, grassroots outreach and publicity to drive awareness of the coat drive which ran for 6 weeks. Model Cleaners used their website and social media to track results and create a competition between schools. They also provided a $1,000 prize to the first place and $500 to the second-place schools that collected the most coats.
The Swiatek Melone Group engagement with Model Cleaners also includes media buying, placement, press releases/media relations, public relations and publicity. SMG also handled all creative services including digital, print, TV, Radio sponsorships, etc. Our public relations and publicity planning have yielded significant media results focusing on business anniversaries, store openings, family involvement in the community, chamber involvement, business milestones, charity involvement and more. We also implemented a thorough Google Analytics reporting system to help analyze website traffic and creative and media effectiveness.
