MEET OUR TEAM
Jennifer Bertetto
President
One word perfectly sums up Jennifer: Dedication. It’s there in every aspect of her life. Take, for example, her almost three decades of experience in media and publishing. She began as a stringer for the sports department at the Valley News Dispatch — while still in high school. After graduating from the University of Pittsburgh, she became a sales rep for the Tribune-Review’s burgeoning expansion into the Pittsburgh market in 1997.
Jennifer’s dedication took her upward — from sales manager to majors accounts director, then advertising director, then Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. In 2015, she became President and CEO of Trib Total Media. Yet, with every goal she completes, Jennifer continues to look ahead — and in 2016, she helped launch 535media.
As a board member for the News Media Alliance, representing over 2,000 news organizations and their multiplatform businesses around the world, Jennifer has her finger on the pulse of the digital evolution of the news industry — from finding ways clients can gain online revenue to developing alternative revenue streams and engaging audiences.
When she’s not helping clients uncover their company’s unique digital potential, Jennifer helps organizations like the National Aviary and Animal Protectors of Allegheny Valley become even stronger. And you want dedication? How about the fact that Jennifer has exercised every single day for over 3,300 days. Now that’s dedication!

Lindsay Bock
Director of Marketing
Lindsay’s career at the Trib started during the summer of 1999 when she interned in the Marketing Department in the Greensburg office of the Tribune-Review. The following year, after she graduated from St. Vincent College, her boss from my internship called and asked if she’d like to interview for a full-time position with her at the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. Of course, she did! Her mentor and friend, Janet Corrinne-Harvey ultimately offered her the job. Lindsay accepted, started on August 29, 2000, and never looked back.
Lindsay and her husband are the proud parents of two amazing daughters, a miniature dachshund, a cat, and a turtle. In her spare time (yeah right!) she enjoys beach vacations, reading, and yoga.
Troy Piekarski
Director of Digital Revenue & Publisher Solutions
You would be hard-pressed to find a more well-rounded and experienced digital media professional than Troy. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Pittsburgh with a Media Communications degree. He started his career working for an online retailer where he learned how to build and market global promotional campaigns alongside executives from Hollywood’s largest production studios. This experience led Troy to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette where he spent most of his career up to this point.
In Marketing at the Post-Gazette, Troy authored the company’s first digital sales curriculum and created an academy for the PG’s traditional salespeople to transition into multimedia consultants. Before long, Troy was pulled into Sales where he experienced unprecedented success that quickly led to a promotion as Digital Sales Manager. Directing the PG’s digital sales strategy, Troy led his team to exponential digital revenue growth. He also established the Pittsburgh region’s first-ever dedicated digital media agency in 34 Allies (now BENN) and helmed the PG’s acquisition of MadeInPGH.com.
Over the course of his career, Troy has also held high-level leadership positions at an Emmy Award-winning national Automotive agency, America’s largest radio company, and one of the top 100 automotive dealership groups in the country.
Troy is presently the Director of Marketing at Trib Total Media. His time with the Trib has been a dream come true. Working within a local media company that truly values innovation and produces a culture of collaboration is the perfect match for Troy’s comprehensive experience and digital leadership expertise. The most exciting part is, he’s just getting started.
Troy resides in Shaler Twp. with his wife, three daughters, and six cats. Troy’s daughters are his pride and joy. Almost every night after work and throughout most weekends, he and his wife can be found either cheering on or coaching their daughters in softball, dance, soccer, acting, and swimming.
